Behind the stitches
A little about me
Chancey Stitches started the way the best things do — at my grandmother's side, learning to sew. Those early lessons turned into a love for making things for the people I care about, and that hasn't changed.
I'm Megan — a mom, a software developer, and someone who needed a hobby that didn't involve a screen. Sewing gave me that. There's something grounding about picking out a fabric, dreaming up an idea, and making something with your hands that didn't exist before.
These days I share my home in Louisiana with my husband Jared, our one-year-old daughter who already has opinions about fabric colors, and our English Springer Spaniel Copper, who supervises most projects from the floor.
Every piece I make is meant to be a little something that makes your day better — a fun little happy for you.
